My May trips started with Houston. My old roommate from Daytona Beach, Mark, offered up his place to stay and in return I got us tickets to the game. Parking was between $15-25. Tried getting autographs pre-game but no luck. We went early and met up with fellow Ballpark Stampeders David and Cindy Cantu. They had 2 extra tickets in the lower level and offered for us to sit with them. We sat in Section 127, Row 10. Awesome seats! After talking for 5 innings, David and Cindy hit the road to Corpus Christie, TX and Mark and I decided to walk around the stadium. The roof was closed for this because it was pretty cloudy out, but I don't think that it rained at all. I loved the view from the outfield. There is also a "Fiesta" sign in the outfield, so I felt at home. Getting up on the deck was awesome. Also in the outfield is a gas pump that has been counting the number of homeruns ever hit at Minute Maid Park. We got to see that increase during this game :) I'm not a huge fan of domes, but enjoyed my experience at Minute Maid Park. I'm still undefeated with games I've attended. Astros 4 - Braves 2
